Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ScoPick, including the website, mobile apps, and related services. By using ScoPick, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use ScoPick.
1. Informational use only
ScoPick is an informational platform. It is not a medical provider, healthcare provider, dietitian, pharmacy, emergency service, food safety authority, or product regulator. ScoPick does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, allergy clearance, emergency guidance, product safety certification, or professional advice.
2. User responsibility
You use ScoPick at your own risk. You are responsible for checking product labels, ingredients, allergens, warnings, expiry dates, manufacturer information, and professional advice before buying, consuming, recommending, or relying on any product or information shown in ScoPick.
3. Product and AI information
Product data may come from producers, public datasets, automated tools, or AI-assisted systems. AI outputs may also be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. Official packaging and manufacturer information should always be treated as the primary source.
4. Health and tracking features
Health, lifestyle, allergy, medication, intake, plate, schedule, chart, and reminder features are optional tracking tools only. ScoPick does not verify your inputs and does not guarantee that outputs, calculations, notifications, or summaries are medically appropriate.
5. Specialists and producers
Any relationship between users, specialists, and producers is separate from ScoPick. Specialists are responsible for their own professional, legal, ethical, confidentiality, and record-keeping duties. Producers and commercial users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, and update of product information they submit.
6. User content
You are responsible for any information, images, product data, notes, messages, or other content you submit. You must not submit false, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, infringing, confidential, abusive, or harmful content.
7. Scoops and payments
Scoops are digital credits for use inside ScoPick. They are not money, cryptocurrency, securities, bank deposits, legal tender, or stored-value instruments. They cannot be refunded, exchanged, transferred, resold, or redeemed outside ScoPick unless expressly allowed by ScoPick. Prices, Scoop costs, bonuses, and feature access may change.
8. Accounts, security, and prohibited use
You are responsible for your account, devices, login credentials, and activity under your account. You must not misuse ScoPick, access another account, bypass payments or security controls, scrape, overload, attack, reverse engineer, or use ScoPick for unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unsupported health or product claims.
9. Notifications and third-party services
Notifications, reminders, emails, and push messages may be delayed, duplicated, inaccurate, or not delivered. ScoPick may also use third-party services such as hosting, payment, authentication, email, AI, app store, analytics, or notification providers. ScoPick is not responsible for third-party services or their actions.
10. Availability and changes
ScoPick may be changed, interrupted, limited, suspended, discontinued, or updated at any time. Features may be experimental, incomplete, region-limited, or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability, compatibility with all devices, preservation of all data, or error-free operation.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoPick is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, medical suitability, availability, security, or error-free operation. ScoPick is not liable for decisions, losses, harm, allergic reactions, health outcomes, product choices, user errors, producer errors, specialist actions, AI outputs, third-party services, or reliance on product data, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold ScoPick, its owners, operators, team members, contractors, service providers, and affiliates harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of ScoPick, your content, your product submissions, your professional actions, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person's rights.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, content, access, producer status, specialist status, paid features, or platform use if we believe there is misuse, legal risk, security risk, payment issue, misleading information, or violation of these Terms. You may stop using ScoPick at any time.
14. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of ScoPick after changes means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
